🍽️ Food & Water식사와 물

• Darwin eats about 1 cup of food per day. 다윈은 하루에 사료를 약 1컵 정도 먹어요.
• 1/4 cup at each of four meals: 7–8am, 12pm, 5–6pm, and 8–9pm. 하루 네 번, 오전 7–8시, 낮 12시, 오후 5–6시, 저녁 8–9시에 각각 사료 1/4컵씩 줘요.
• Sprinkle a small amount of chicken on the first three meals — just a pinch or two. The 8–9pm meal doesn't need it. 앞의 세 끼에는 닭고기를 아주 조금, 한두 꼬집만 뿌려 줘요. 저녁 8–9시 식사에는 닭고기가 없어도 돼요.
• The chicken in the fridge is only good until the day on its label — right now the last day is Wednesday. Throw it away on Thursday and use the frozen chicken bag from the freezer instead. 냉장고 안의 닭고기는 라벨에 적힌 날까지만 쓸 수 있어요. 지금은 수요일이 마지막 날이에요. 목요일에는 버리고, 냉동실에 있는 냉동 닭고기 봉지를 대신 써 주세요.
• Only ONE greenie stick per day — never more than one. He gets it around 5–6pm. 그리니 스틱은 하루에 딱 한 개만 주세요. 절대 한 개보다 많이 주면 안 돼요. 오후 5–6시쯤 줘요.
• In the evening he gets the greenie brown ball. 저녁에는 그리니 브라운 볼을 줘요.
• His water comes from the Brita pitcher we keep just for Darwin. 다윈의 물은 다윈 전용 브리타 정수 물병의 물을 줘요.

🐕 Habits습관

• Darwin sleeps for most of the day — that's normal. 다윈은 하루 대부분 잠을 자요 — 정상이에요.
• He usually poops about twice a day. 보통 하루에 두 번 정도 배변을 해요.
• If you'd rather not clean up after him in the house, take him out to the backyard every few hours instead — just make sure he doesn't eat any mushrooms out there. 집 안에서 배변을 치우고 싶지 않다면, 몇 시간마다 뒷마당에 데리고 나가 주세요 — 다만 마당의 버섯을 먹지 않도록 봐 주세요.
• If Darwin growls at you at night, just say “Enough!” firmly. 밤에 다윈이 으르렁거리면, 단호하게 “Enough!(이제 그만!)”라고 말해 주세요.
• If he's growling at you, it probably means he's hungry. 다윈이 으르렁거린다면 대부분 배가 고프다는 뜻이에요.

🦮 Walks & Home Alone산책 & 혼자 있을 때

• It's okay if Darwin stays home the entire week — he doesn't have to go outside. 일주일 내내 집에만 있어도 괜찮아요 — 다윈은 꼭 밖에 나가지 않아도 돼요.
• Always keep the gates closed so Darwin can't run away. 다윈이 도망가지 않도록 문(게이트)은 항상 닫아 주세요.
• If you take Darwin outside, he must always be on the leash. 다윈을 밖에 데리고 나갈 때는 항상 목줄(리드줄)을 채워 주세요.
• Don't let him eat anything on walks — there may be broken glass, leftover food, or mushrooms in the grass. 산책 중에는 아무것도 먹지 못하게 해 주세요. 풀숲에 깨진 유리, 먹다 남은 음식, 버섯이 있을 수 있어요.
• It's okay to leave him home alone for up to 6 hours. Make sure he has food and water first. 집에 혼자 두는 것은 최대 6시간까지 괜찮아요. 나가기 전에 사료와 물을 꼭 챙겨 주세요.

🧻 Cleaning Up뒷정리

• Poop: pick it up with toilet paper and flush it down the toilet first. 대변은 먼저 휴지로 집어서 변기에 버리고 물을 내려요.
• Then clean the spot (and any pee) with the spray bottle and a paper towel. 그다음 그 자리(소변 포함)를 스프레이와 키친타월로 닦아요.
